Crogl 2.11.0 Release Notes

Crogl 2.11.0 lets scheduled jobs run programs, adds a pause for all jobs, installs on Amazon EKS with one command, and expands the crogl CLI for pipelines.

Before you upgrade

Some CLI commands and REST API paths are renamed with no aliases. Read Deprecations below, and upgrade the CLI on every machine that connects to the server.

What's New

  • Run a program on a schedule. A job can run an executable instead of a prompt. Exit codes and output are recorded on the run.
  • Pause all jobs. Administrators can pause and resume the scheduler from the Jobs page or with crogl set-config scheduler.enabled=false.
  • One-command EKS install. Fill in install-eks.env and run install-eks.sh --config. It creates the cluster and database, installs Crogl, and creates the first administrator.
  • Skills in the CLI. Read, export, create, update, and manage skills from the CLI.
  • Paging and filtering. Every list- command accepts --limit, --sort, and --filter. Existing scripts keep working.
  • Delete confirmation. Destructive commands ask first. Pass --yes in scripts.
  • Exit codes. 0 success, 1 operation failed, 2 invalid command, 3 sign-in rejected.
  • Microsoft Entra machine-to-machine sign-in. The CLI sends the scope Entra expects by default. Set identity.m2m_scope for other providers.

Fixes

  • Upgrading an installation that predates local sign-in keeps sign-in working.
  • The credential card shown while Crogl researches an API accepts credentials again.
